This work is one of those among the fourth wave of my "Reflections" series artworks and one of the cardboard series I painted during the period of pandemic lockdowns at home when I comfortably believed I could storify the picture in my mind on small-size surfaces. While visualizing it, I wanted to apply what I would do in my next artworks on canvases. One of them was the idea of introducing some kind of shadow effects behind the objects, which I call "amorphous formations" throughout the Reflections series. The other was painting some transparency on them so that the background would not completely obscured. Some individual cardboard artwork is one of those prototypes of my next future works. However, this individual artwork is one where I liked to paint a free style on white background. More information about the series is included in the second part of my bio and in the documents in my website accessible via the buttons on the top right of the page.

To read about artworks, please jump to the "Array of matters..." heading below. Born in 1974 to a family of a strong characteristic woman and an enlightened elementary school teacher in a united culture of Anatolia, Mesopotamia, and the Caucasus. My childhood covered a period of difficulties in the country. It drove me to a submental desire to understand what was going on with the people in my neighborhood and those around me. Having been inspired by my father's photo studio in those years, I was shooting instances here and there, spending time in dark rooms. Much of evening times at home were times bouncing ideas about art. I often and secretly did drawings, as well, but I was never aware of how I was doing them. At the time when the big decision came up, my brother was having high education in sculpture and my sister in painting. With their recommendations and my desire to express my findings on social and psychological issues, I too switched to fine art high education. Although I organized a number of exhibitions nothing more than as meetings of friends or joined such organizations for being socially active and for an aim to motivate my wife who is a sculptor and teacher, and to condition my two daughters with art, one of whom is now a good drawer and another at elementary bale conservatoire, I have just recently decided to share my visions with the outside world. Meanwhile, for more than 10 years, I taught drawing over some hundred students between the ages of 12 to 20. I was invited to continue teaching at a private art school (İÜ Adıgüzel GSL) where I served my last 4 years as the head of the painting department. For three years, I continue to teach at one of the leading schools in Turkey (The Koç School). One pride in my life I enjoy is the successful works that I see done by my previous students in various fields ranging from fine arts to architecture, to 3D works, to animations. Since I want, within this limited area, to sum up what I try to do in my works, I would like to say that more information about me is on my web page and will be on my social media profiles. A digital copy of the brochure and extensive technical and philosophical explanations about my recent works can be accessed via the buttons on the top right of my web page, as well.
