In my various trips to the library to research patterns in nature , I came across these tiny sea organisms who exist in the depths as well as the surface of the ocean . They are related to corals, jelly fish & hydra. What i found so interesting in this theme was the fact that such small creatures exist & who or what made them this way ? I believe that there's an Almighty superior power out there who creates these patterns in nature . My spiritual practice guides me to respect all forms of life, right from the smallest atom to the largest creatures on earth & beyond.

Singapore
I am a visual artist/ architect, in Singapore and originally from New Delhi (India). I have my art studios in both locations & I'm participating in exhibitions world wide. My mixed media works are made on canvas, paper, textile boards, wood, MDF panels. I work with various mediums such as pastels, fluid acrylics, water colours, gouache using techniques such as drawing, cyanotypes, collage, painting. I enjoy participating at art workshops to learn new techniques. and have completed 2 part time art courses at The Lasalle college of arts , Singapore. Nature & my travels keep me motivated & inspired. Long walks in the lush national parks in Singapore help me to connect with my inner thoughts & give me more clarity in my artistic vision. Reiki Mediation is a part of my daily routine which also helps me to focus. My themes are usually centred around the balance between nature & man, depicting fantastical settings & beings. My colour palette is usually bright & I'm the happiest to use my favourite medium chalk pastels. I constantly try to evolve my creative process, as I find it thrilling to experiment with new styles. Bold images with a subtle context is my preferred choice of depiction. Having studied & practiced architecture, I'm greatly influenced by my surroundings, such as buildings, landscapes & I enjoy observing the balance with which city layouts are planned. I believe in the current times of climate change, nature must be nourished to thrive as mankind needs the solace & comfort from Mother Nature more than ever. I have recently launched a coffee table art book titled " Unmasking the Spiritual Self" at the Singapore National Library . The book features 129 of my over 300 artworks , divided into 7 genres of human emotions depicting spiritual transition. I'm also pursuing a climate change fellowship program with an arts organisation based in UK. This project has enhanced my learning about environmental issues.
